Other Mathematical Conferences around ICM98

Several mathematicians in Germany and other European countries have offered to organize or to take care of - as contact persons - the organization of conferences on special mathematical topics to be held shortly before or after the ICM 1998.

Unfortunately, it is impossible for the ICM Organizing Committee to support these conferences financially but it offers this server for advertising these "satellite conferences" and making all necessary information available.

Everyone who is interested in more information about these conferences should contact the organizors directly or G. Frey (Essen), to whom suggestions for further topics and information which updates already announced topics should be sent, too.
